A10 Battery Equivalent: Which Zinc-Air Cells Match Size 10?

PR41, PR70, 10A, P10 — a no-guess equivalent table for hearing aid size-10 cells.

The A10 hearing aid battery is a size-10 zinc-air cell (5.8 mm × 3.6 mm, 1.4V, ≈90 mAh). Equivalent designations: PR41 (IEC), 10A, P10 and PR70 in retail channels — they are the same physical cell, different labels.

Do not confuse with size 13 (A13/PR48, 7.9 × 5.4 mm) or size 312 (A312/PR63, 7.9 × 3.6 mm): same voltage, different diameter or thickness — a size-10 cell falls out of a size-13 holder.

Watch the pack: cells are activated when the tab is removed — the neutral tab keeps them down to full shelf life. Flat-top and tab-top variants matter for the holder contact in some instruments.
