How to Replace a Watch Battery
A simple 5-minute job for most watches. You will need a small screwdriver or case knife, tweezers and a new cell.
- Open the case back: remove screws or pry the friction-fit back with a case knife.
- Remove the old cell, note the model, and check the polarity before inserting.
- Insert the new cell with the correct side facing up — do not touch the surfaces with bare fingers.
- Refit the case back and press the crown/gasket to restore water resistance.
